Alex Francis’ emotive melding of rock and soul has spurned an organic rise to prominence that few singer songwriter's have experienced.

In 2016 Alex won the support of Time Out Magazine’s ‘Rising Stars’ artist programme and went on to collaborate with pop legend Melanie C on ‘Hold On’, the third single from her album 2017 ‘Version of Me’. The single received extensive airplay on UK and European radio, and Melanie invited Alex to open her UK & Europe album tour which included a sold out show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Alex released his EP debut 'These Words' last summer which included singles 'Make Believe' and 'The Last Time'. The EP was produced by Eddie Serifica. (Jake Bugg) Alex's latest EP 'A Stronger Love' released in December and was produced by Gus Pirelli (Disclosure, Sam Smith) and mastered by Chris Kimsey (The Rolling Stones)

In January Alex was invited to support Stereophonics on their 'Scream Above The Sounds' European tour which included sold out shows at L'Olympia in Paris and AFAS Live in Amsterdam. This summer he will open for Alanis Morissette at Blue Balls Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland on July 26th and will be perform at MadCool Festival in Madrid on July 13th.
